The project, completed in the Gulbinai district of Vilnius, Lithuania, seamlessly combined modern aesthetics and engineering mastery. Designers Tadas Žižys and Mindaugas Jonaitis created a unique staircase design featuring an impressive visual composition and innovative technical solutions. The construction work was carried out by “Stone Jokers,” who prepared the structural design, reinforced and poured the foundation. The staircase utilized high-quality Pako Grey granite from Ukraine with a flamed finish. Each step was crafted to specific dimensions – 1200 x 1000 x 100 mm – with a total weight of 8 tons for the entire structure. These granite pieces were manufactured in Ukraine and carefully transported to Lithuania. The “Stone Jokers” team successfully installed and “suspended” the 8-ton staircase in mid-air, maintaining precision and exceptional design execution.
